(Objective) Pyemotes sp. is a parasitic natural enemy of Bark Beetle. The biological characters of Pyemotes sp. were analyzed in order to provide reference for indoor artificial breeding and field release of Pyemotes sp. (Method) The development duration and the fecundity of Pyemotes sp. in different temperature were observed in 2009 and 2010. (Result) The development duration and fecundity of Pyemotes sp. were gradually reduced along with the increase of temperature under 19 - 3190, as the same of several generations after postpartum. Under temperature from 10[degree]C to 15[degree]C, Pyemotes sp. developed slowly, and no later generations will be produced. Under temperature from 19[degree]C to 22[degree]C, the later generations of Pyemotes sp. will more be produced, the most fecundity was 226 head of one female. The regression equetion obtained from regression analysis developmental rate under different temperatures were as follows: Y = 167.14 X + 10.49 (R2 = 0.99) (2009) and Y = 167.67 X + 10.00 (R2 = 0.95 ) (2010). (Conclusion) The developmental threshold temperature ranged from 10.00 [degree]C to 10.49[degree]C. The effective accumulative temperature ranged from 167. 14 day degree to 167.67 day degree. The optimal temperature of breeding ranged from 19[degree]C to 22[degree]C .
