Taxonomic composition of the subgenus Choilisanus Reitter, 1912 is revised. The new synonymy was established: subgenus Choilisanus Reitter, 1912 = Lacocnesus Reitter, 1912, syn.n. O. pelutinus Germar, 1824 was transferred from the subgenus Arammichnus Gozis, 1882 to the subgenus Choilisanus. A new species Otiorhynchus (Choilisanus) glebius Davidian et Keskin sp.n. is described from SW Turkey. It is closely related to O. latinasus Reitter, 1898, from which easily differs by granulated disc of pronotum and more elongated elytra. Habitus looks like to O. balcanicus Stierlin, 1861, from which differs by dilated apical part of foretibia.
