Abundant population of the rare species Cucujus cinnaberinus in the National Nature Reserve Libicky luh is described. Occurrence of the very rare species Acalles aubei is reported from the area of the National Nature Monument Mednik in the Sazava river valley. Records from the proposed protected area "Vanovice" in Bohemian Karst are involved here as well as records of the contemporary expanding species Oxythyrea funesta and Apion semivittatum. Recent occurrence of Amara crenata in Prague is confirmed (this species has been till this time considered extinct in the Prague district). Remarkable findings from light trapping from Bohemian Karst are added (Necrodes littoralis, Odonteus armiger, Geotrupes spiniger, Metoecus paradoxus).
